My design philosophy revolves around the pursuit of wellness and wellbeing through the power of interior design. We all know that interior design can make your home beautiful and evoke emotions that make us happy, calm, and relaxed. In addition, it also has the power to improve the physical and mental levels in a person. As an interior designer, I work with this in mind, in hopes to improve not only the homes I am working on, but also the lives of those living in them.To bring this philosophy to life, I like to think of 4 concepts:

MEET MISTY
I am a designer and artist from Florence, Alabama. Five years ago, I opened a brick-and-mortar shop, Watson Design & Landscapes in hopes of creating a space where people could come and fellowship and feel inspired. I describe myself as a lifestyle creative, a business owner and an inspiration seeker. I aspire to live beautifully everyday. Living a beautiful life stretches far beyond a perfectly styled shelf or a gorgeously set table. It comes from being intentional in anything and everything that makes you excited about life. My passion for art and design has drawn me to the world of interior design. Helping other's and creating an environment of beauty, peace and individual uniqueness is something I strive to achieve in every home I enter. My mission is to not only improve the home, but the lives of those living in them.
